Just a bit of fact-checking from one derby fan to another…
The “first ever European cross-border battle” was actually held in Stuttgart in October of 2007 when Stuttgart hosted the London Rockin Rollers. Nearly a year later both those teams met on the track again in Stuttgart for a rematch. The Birmingham v Stuttgart game was actually the third European cross-border battle, though the first to be hosted by a UK team.
I’m sure you can find the scores and details for those first two matches on the London Rockin Rollers website - http://www.londonrockinrollers.co.uk
