His production company, KingVision, sued an American Legion Post in Chino, CA, alleging that they broke the rules when they only purchased the residential pay-per-view package for one his fights instead of the commercial package. Because, when you think American Legion, you think bustling merchantry. The Chino war vets settled with King for a cool 20 Gs, because they can’t afford the cost to go up against a pay-per-view provider’s legal arsenal, not to mention whatever scumbags King keeps as counsel.
Fantastic, we’ve got war vets making a relatively miniscule drop in the bucket of an ex-con’s fortune. Only in America.

I’m a pretty big fight fan who rarely misses a good match on pay-per-view. So, it is with some pain that I make the following pledge: I swear before God that I will never watch a boxing match promoted by Don King until he (a) releases American Legion Post 299 from any obligation in this matter to him and his equally shameful partners, J&J Sports Productions, and (b) grants a free and continuous license to each and every American Legion Post in America for every single fight he ever promotes. And by that I mean that any American Legion Post would not even have to pay even the amount charged for watching a fight in one’s living room. (Rick Ungar of True/Slant)
I like it, I’m on the bus. Plus, personally I can’t remember a good fight that didn’t have the Golden Boy Productions stamp on it. Someone want to enlighten me as to the last time I cared about a Don King fight? (Hector Camacho vs. Julio Cesar-Chavez, maybe?)

Its funny you say that about Jimmy Adams and Howard Wear, MK. I have a very similar story and was googling them to see what information I could find out. Its shocking to see that Don King would hire people like them to run his company.
I don’t understand why Don King productions would allow people like Jimmy and Howard to screw over people on such a constant basis. Then again, articles like this just show where Don King’s conscience is…

I just got screwed by Jimmy Adams, Howard Wear and Don King. These low-lifes lie through their teeth to get what they want. If you come across them you should call the police. Whatever you do don’t believe a word that comes out of their mouths.

MK, Dave & Blackie, I am right there with you… I just Googled Jimmy Adams and found this (and OTHER) sites denouncing Jimmy Adams and Howard Wear.
YES, they are both liars, and they both cause hurt, financial suffering, and broken promises everywhere they go!
They owe several people who worked for them, Don King Productions, and alias’s they have developed to “take the best technical talent they could find, and build a monumental company around them” YEAH, RIGHT! It’s more like, “Take the best technical talent the could find, and EXTORT THE HELL OUT OF THEM!!!!!”
What goes around COMES AROUND! So, just simply remember that they will one day get theirs, and it will be multiplied by the number of individuals, families, etc. that they have walked upon during their quest for fame and fortune.

Wow, can you believe it… he has just done the same with me. I am filing a Law Suit after having been scammed out of 200 hours of work. Anyone willing to sign an Affidavit on my behalf I would be willing to do the same. Looking to help those who have been scammed as well to get something back for their losses. You all are pieces of work!!! I know who every single one of you are and have seen all of your lack of performance. You all are the ones who have no conscience….Mitch Kamp the whiner, Dave the weird O and Dean the psycho who just threatened my life. I have seen all of your crappy work, lack of work ethics…like you are on vacation…homeless, hungry…whatever!!!! We constantly met demands. The only problem occurred when you all could no longer take and take and finally, THANK GOD (oh yes GOD) GOT FIRED!!!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL Now just for lawsuit purposes, this is only my opinion. Jimmy Adams is one of the most upstanding people I have ever meet. He works 12 to 14 hours a day on the computer and out in the field making things happen. He has the most integrity I have seen in a long time. He has a great vision and drive to meet his goals. In every job there is always a trial period but not everyone is able to keep up. Jimmy has always encouraged people that He works with and helps them to reach their potential. This is the reason His company is a success and will grow in the future.

Jimmy Adams is not only the most professonal person I have met but he is also one of the smartest. Which must explain why he FIRED the low lifes who have posted on here! Clearly NONE of you had what it took to stay in the business so you are all hitting the internet and trying to ruin his professional name and since all of you broke asses are unemployed, I guess you all have plenty of time to do this! But while you all are crying like the babies you seem to be, Jimmy is laughing all the way to the bank because he has a wonderful and fair company, great friends, and an awesome family. Side Note: To Mitch, Dave, & Dean: I am sorry you were fired or let go. I hear Family Dollar is hiring. Good luck!

Ashley, I’d like to think you’re too young and naive to understand what type of scam artist your husband Jimmy Adams is but you’re not that dumb. Get used to people threatning your family. Jimmy Adams will eventually rip off the wrong person and you’ll all pay for it. He’s using you too by the way. As soon as Jr is old enough you’ll probably end up like his other 6 wives did, but that would be a blessing in disguise for you. And those people you mentioned didn’t get fired they quite due to not getting paid the $1000′s of dollars they were owed.

People, it is obvious that there are LOTS of us out here that have fallen victim to Jimmy Adams. As Video Man said, sooner or later (and by now, I am pretty certain it will be sooner as there are few people left out here he hasn’t screwed out of their talent without paying…), it will ALL come tumbling down around him. I realize that many of us were left hanging out there waiting for our checks when he kept promising over and over again that it was coming. Many families have suffered as a result, and that takes it to a different level. All said, the old expression, “What goes around comes around” will surely hit Jimmy Adams one day. Let it be said that someone, somewhere, will one day finally find you on the street Jimmy Adams. Jimmy, you won’t know when they’re coming, but you WILL know when they are there lol… To insult all these people from many different areas of the US by stating their inabilities, and then to make joke about “Family Dollar”… Ashley, how many times have you and your glamorous family been evicted and on the streets, or put up in a hotel. All your belongings left on the curb because of Jimmy’s successful lifestyle?!? Video Man, you were far too nice to Ashley. She has been around long enough to see it all, and how she and her children can eat and sleep knowing the innocent families her husband has affected is beyond me!

Those babies know nothing of the world around them and are not to blame for anything you accuse Jimmy of doing. Bringing those precious kids into your post is a huge low even for scum like you. And do not concern yourself with who Jimmy meets on the street. You should be worried about who YOU meet on the street and pray to everything holy it is not me. I have worked with Jimmy Adams on several projects for a number of years and I can honestly say that I have no idea how any of you can say such horrible things about him. He is highly intelligent and always professional. He is a man of honor and a man of his word. He has done so much for others. Like donating a play ground to an elementary school that did not have one for example. He brought so much happiness to those children. He has also donated to many charities and churches. You all should be ashamed for saying such things. He is a business man and I understand sometimes business men are shrude, but at heart he is a great man, loving father, loving husband, great friend and all around success it life.

First of all, Jimmy Adams is truly a con-artist. He owes $700,421.00 in Federal Income Tax debt, hides himself, all of his property and belongings because he owes the government so much money. He sets up fake businesses like “Seen On Demand” to scam people out of money by convincing them to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars, when in reality, that money is being diverted to pay for his lifestyle of flying in private jets and staying in Villas in Las Vegas. He has filed Bankruptcy both Chapters 7 and 13 several times. Jimmy is a pretend millionaire. He doesn’t have any legitimate money to his name whatsoever, and hides assets in Ashleys name and others. Be very careful when dealing with this individual. He is most likely under investigation by the FBI. Do not lend him any money of any type, do not let him represent you as an Artist Agent, do not work for any company he or Howard Wear have created. Jimmy already owes $28,000 in a judgment in Williamson County TN General Sessions Court, and several other judgments in Davidson County. He is quickly on his way to Federal Prison.

It would appear to me that anyone who owes 700k must have been doing something right. That means he was earning some real coin, ie in the millions. Let’s see, flying in private jets, suites in Vegas, hob nobbing with celebs, damn, sounds like a nice time to me. One thing I have learned in my years of doing business, if you don’t make a few enemies, you never took a stand. This whole blog sounds like a bunch of petty whiners crying over spilled milk.

Hi my name is Karma..I do not judge, hurt nor do take favorites. If you have been wronged then keep moving forward and do what is right. It will come back to you for all the good you have done even though you have been betrayed, lied too and deceived.
For those who have wronged you and are enjoying their false PEACE and lifestyle from betraying, lying, and stealing from others….it will only be short lived. I have a way of returning the favor back to those who harm others and bring Blessings to those whom have been wronged. The Truth will surface and JUSTICE will be served in this lifetime. Jimmy Adams is no rich man. He has already commented on the post using other people’s names (i.e. Renee and Timothy) It’s a shame no one can stand up for him. That is because he is a nobody. A broke nobody who can’t afford groceries half of the time, has borrowed cars, owns nothing, and is about to be kicked out of another house he could never afford. Don’t waste your time on this nobody.

People that do well have paid their taxes in full each and every year and don’t look to borrow more from investors from the Brentwood Country Club for your latest and greatest scam. Federal Prisons are full of people like you, and I’m glad they have a bed and roomie waiting for you. No lawyer in the world can protect you from the impending prosecution you are going to be involved in.
