Celeb followers can be some of the most vicious people on earth, and not all celebs have consideration like that. You wouldn't believe some of the inflammatory stuff Scott Baio liked to do via his twitter account, tweeting attacks on ordinary everyday users, asking his followers to "Plz RT", and then deleting the tweets so he'd look innocent. Dozens of screencaps of those original tweets exist, though. (Baio's calmed down in recent weeks...maybe a publicist finally got their hands on him).
