Every learner of the game starts by hitting the ball low and to the right through a combination of factors not the least of which is the fear of releasing the club head. Go to the driving range and hit balls as often as you play and you will soon find yourself swinging with some confidence and hitting those high straight shots that'll keep you coming back. Don't be too hard on yourself and try to enjoy the learning experience. It seems so easy yet so hard. Time is your friend so spend the time and reap the rewards.
