Mr. Woods is a man, a human being, just like all of his. We all err through out our lives. He should not be condemned any more than the next person who has transgressed against another. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Tiger made mistakes and that is obvious to see; however, a great deal of men cheat and it is totally the decision of the wife whether to forgive and try to make the marriage work. I personally wouldn’t stay with him, but I wouldn’t think unfavorably of his wife if she did. They have two small children who need their father in their lives. What I find even more disturbing is the pay options they are giving to the wife. What kind of women is she to stay for monetary gain? She is no better than Tiger if she takes money to stay in the marriage. It all has gotten out of hand and people really need to mind their own business and let them work it out for themselves.

I think the mistress who is getting all the publicity looks like a common prostitute. She knew he was married and had two small children. Did she really expect Tiger to leave his wife and children for her? So now she feels scorned and is releasing the phone calls and messages he sent. Why? If he was cheating with her, why would she think he would not cheat with someone else. I find her to be pitiful and she looks like a fool to America. I mean, he fathered a son with his wife while he was supposedly cheating with this mistress and she thought…seriously thought he was going to choose her! Idiot. She needs to take a little pride and have some decency to just shut her mouth and leave this broken family alone to repair what she participated in breaking.

Tiger Woods is in a position that makes him a role model whether he likes it or not. Countless children and adults look up to him. He therefore must be more responsible than the average person. Hence, when he behaves in such a manner as he has, the impact is much greater than it would be were he an average person. If you pursue the type of life which he has, you must also accept the responsibility of managing that life in a manner befitting your status. You must also respect the people who look up to you. Sadly, my opinion of Tiger Woods has been ruined. I thought he was a decent person who respected his position. I also thought that he understood marriage, and his responsibility to his wife. I am deeply disappointed in him. Aside from my opinion of the man, I wonder how anyone could be unfaithful to one’s spouse. It is unthinkable. Personally, I could not live with myself were I to do such a thing. I needn’t worry about that, though. Marriage is a decision to love, rather than a sweet feeling. When you marry, you decide to love that person and they are your family as sure as a brother or a sister. I ultimately feel sorry for Tiger and his family. Remember, too, that the women involved are not without blame. They knew he was a married man and are as responsible as he. I do not wish to cast stones, as I realize that noone is perfect. I wish the best for Tiger and his family. I hope that they can work things out. Perhaps dropping the media attention would allow them to do so. Perhaps restraining the release of every name of every woman who claims an affair would allow them to work on their marriage. My opinion of Tiger is damaged, that is true, but I honestly wish him and his family the best. Look at those sweet little kids. They do not deserve what they must be going through. Tiger, you have hurt your wife, your children, your public and fans. I must say two things. Shame on you and I truly wish you the best and hope you can save your marriage and family. If anyone out there can relay this message to Tiger Woods or his family, I wish that they would. I would hope that this message might provide some insight on the seriousness of the situation and possibly some hope for the repair of the damage done. Good luck Tiger

TIGER I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU DONE AND LIKE ANYONE ELSE YOU ARE ONLY HUMAN AND YOUR WIFE SHOULD HAVE KNEW WHAT THE CHANCES WERE OF YOU CHEATING WHEN SHE MARRIED A MAN LIKE YOU FAMOUS,RICH,AND GOODLOOKING, THEN AGAIN MAYBE SHE WASN’T TAKING CARE OF YOU IN THTA DEPARTMENT SO YOU HAD TO GO ELSEWHERE.I AM A FEMALE AND I KNOW JUST AS GOOD AS ANY THAT IF YOU DON’T GET TOOK CARE OF AT HOME THEN MEN AS WELL AS WOMEN TEND TO STRAY. I’M POOR AND DONT HAVE MUCH TO OFFERE MY HUSBAND OTHER THAN GOOD COOKIN AND TRY TO KEEP HIM HAPPY AT HOME SO THAT MAYBE HE WONT STRAY AND MAYBE SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME. Yes, Tiger may be like all other men who have cheated on their spouses, but please we are talking about cheating with over a dozen women and counting ! ‘How are the mighty falling’ ! You know what I can’t wait to come to pass ? — the day Tiger shows up in public for anything, just anything ! The surprise ? – he looks smart, he was born with the golf talent, but he is not smart at playing ‘the game’. The days of looking up to a role model are gone. Common!

This was not funny to watch..You know, I was not that into watching golf, (married lady in MI). then Tiger came along. We saw the Father/Son relationship telling Tiger he could do anything. It was great to see barriers broken, and some unbelieveable golf . I wanted to love him like everyone else, and I did enjoy golf now….. but their was this sad arrogance to him with each time he won. He did not “like” the people. Their very presence annoyed him, “the gallery” and he didn’t have to, ( sponsors may not agree) One just wanted to see a gentleman developing with all the notoriety, the fame, with Arnold Pailmer, Sam Sneed, Jack Nicholas, one just wanted to see some class. Then came the lovely Elin and children and Tiger playing against impossible odds, bad knee, crack in his leg, Wow, I was glued to the set… No way, could he actually win this, he did. Wow!!!! We all blessed Tiger and his wife when his children were born.. Then, all this, some say, it’s their business, of course it is, but, we saw, ” the celebrity machine” rear it’s ugly face.. ( the cover-ups) .realized what Tiger had put his friend and caddy , Steve through, yet, Steve could have walked away, when the mistresses started adding up. They are certainly not without shame. He is a married man, “ladies” nuff said,
Tiger shows no remorse about anything.We hear of contracts and buying his wife to stay. We all cared when we heard their was a car accident… dear God was anyone hurt?….. We cared…. then came a line up of women…. lies, cover-ups, his mother-in-law a trip to the hospital, and , still, no Tiger… Man-up. I know a lot of his buddies knew this.How could they look Elin in the face?
I am so very sorry that Tiger let his “ambition” come before his family and apparently thinks he can do anything…. I bought my husband something of Tiger’s for Christmas…. I am not even going to return it. I am throwing it away. God Bless Elin and the children….. and Tiger, I know you don’t want them, but prayers for you as the Top with no honor, can be a very lonely place to be…..

To Jessica: That is the most ignorant response I have seen regarding the “Tiger situation”. Your assumption that Elin was not “taking care of Tiger” is beyond stupid. Many men who cheat, even when their sexual needs are being met at home, will still stray. Speaking from experience, if a man has it in his mind that this is what he wants to do, he will do just that. Furthermore, no woman should be consumed with trying to keep her man from “straying” as you say you are. Good luck with that. Sounds like you have doubts regarding YOUR man.
