On Monday night, Shaq led the Boston Pops orchestra in three songs as conductor. It was the latest stunt in his season long quest to immerse himself hilariously in the New England culture. As a native New Englander, I have three words for the big bandleader: Revolutionary. War. Reenactment.

Here’s Celtic back-up point guard Nate Robinson’s latest stunt, as he continues to spend the off-season vying to become Shaq’s sidekick.
If you don’t catch it :02 seconds in, Paul Pierce is on the flipcam. What you’re about to see is Pierce giving Nate Robinson 30-seconds to complete a full suicide in Shaq’s size 23, which come up past his shin splints.
If you were following the video’s timer, you may have noticed Pierce actually gave him an additional :05.
When he says “Biggest Shoes in the World”, it makes me grin. I’m really happy about Robinson becoming the Tonto to Shaq’s Lone Ranger.

Proving that Shaq, internet power broker, stands unfettered from his tumultuous last week where he was accused of hacking into and implanting child porn into a former employee’s computer, this morning, @The_Real_Shaq tweeted that he’s auctioning off four tickets to the home opener vs. the Heat on October 26, along with four jerseys.
The auction is part of the @TwitChange campaign, which launched on Sep. 15 as a charity-auction series to support aHomeInHaiti.org. The campaign was created by aHomeInHaiti.org founder Shaun King, and has signed up other Twitter celebs such as @KimKardashian, @JustinBieber and other members of the in-crowd. Nice to see that Shaq clearly remembers a time when Googling “hack” and “Shaq” purely yielded YouTube clips of him bricking free throws, as he looks to rise above the pending lawsuit, not to mention the unending speculation that this latest move to Boston is purely Kobe-motivated.
Appearing live in a hotel lobby near you, it’s Shaq lip syncing – also piano player mimicking – to Peter Cetera’s Glory of Love. This gets pretty exaggerated.
Thanks for posting first, Hoops Doc. I too wouldn’t hate it if Shaq settled down a little.
To put this into context…
Roughly 10 days ago, vitaminwater launched a marketing campaign that cast Gary Busey (rarely a bad decision) in a video as Norman Tugwater, Fantasy Sports Lawyer. Shaq and Adrian Peterson were along for the ride, and the results were just kind of funny if you ask me. Nevertheless, like most people who’ve seen Point Break at least 25 times, I decided to stick with the Norman Tugwater experiment – by that I mean follow him on Facebook and Twitter. The results: Tugwater, pretty hilarious. Here’s some of his finest work to date:
To the writer(s) behind Busey’s latest maniacal exploits, I commend you. In fact, I’d enjoy knowing who was behind this, and picking their brain; Who are you? Do you credit Not Gary Busey on Twitter as a source of inspiration? Have you seen Point Break 25 times? Do you feel that Busey’s character, FBI agent Angelo Pappas, carries the first act of Point Break, like I do?
This week in 1994, New York City kind-of- a rap group Fu-Schnickens released their second album Nervous Breakdown. It featured the hit single What's Up Doc? (Can We Rock) w/ a guest appearance from Shaq Fu, himself.
Shaq's adeptness at inventing halfwords – like alidocious – would not be fully appreciated until later in history…Thought The Big Web Viral would be interested in this week’s token internet craze. The resemblance is pretty staggering.

The meticulous scribe of this article felt the need to clarify that O’Neal is an american basketball star and that his nickname is Shaq, leaving me to believe that The Big World Renowned is not one that we should so quickly add to O’neal’s stable of The Big nomenclature.
The real story here, is that since challenging Obama in person (roundball meets round-table on a healthcare reform) didn’t go so well the other day, Shaq resorted to the old standby to challenge David Beckham to a game of “soccerball.” It goes on…
And to entice Beckham on the show, O’Neal has decided to post a series of “tweets” calling on the England footballer to take up the challenge.
“Dear david beckham,” tweets Shaq. “I kno u heard about my Shaq Vs show, anyway u will never score a goal on me, I challenge you lil man.”
But Beckham failed to respond to the tweet, prompting another tweet from O’Neal: “David beckham I kno u hear me, dnt be scared, dnt make me call u out, u will never score a goal on me.”
O’Neal’s most recent tweet to Beckham read: “Dnt make me tweet to 2 million people that your scared of shaq, u betta respond, if u scared get a dog.”
There it is. The blow-by-blow on twitter, as reported by newspaperman. In related twitter news, Ocho Cinco doesn’t know what Levitra is.
